De GIG-164 CFX Mixing Console zit boordevol functies die andere consoles van dit formaat niet bevatten: 10 mono- (uitgerust met microfoonvoorversterkers met extreem weinig ruis en +48 volt fantoomvoeding) en 4 stereo-inputkanalen. Elk kanaal is uitgerust met 3-bands equalizer met regeling voor hoog, midden en laag, evenals 3 AUX-regelingen, ingebouwd 24-bit DSP-effect met 100 voorinstellingen, zeer nauwkeurige staafdiagrammeters met 12 segmenten en tweesporeningangen toewijsbaar aan de hoofdmix, controlekamer/koptelefoon of groepsuitgangen.
