De Express versie biedt 24 afspeellagen, twee effect-engines en ondersteunt DMX, Art-Net, tijd code, CITP en Elgato Stream Deck. Daarnaast biedt hij heel veel extra functies. Remote player Remote player is een op netwerk gebaseerd besturingssysteem waarmee je meerdere servers vanaf één punt op het netwerk kunt bedienen. Dit is interessant voor degenen die werken aan langdurige projecten, vaste installaties en andere vaste omgevingsscenario's. LED Mapper-extensie MediaMaster Express 6 bevat de intuïtieve LED Mapper-extensie. Dit is de flexibele software oplossing van ArKaos waarmee je eenvoudig LED-armaturen kunt configureren en aansturen. Zodra mapping is voltooid, kan het bestand worden geïmporteerd in MediaMaster Express. Vervolgens kun je de specifieke configuratie uitsturen. LED armaturen met Kling-Net ondersteuning worden automatisch geconfigureerd en verbonden. Hiervoor is een ingewikkeld installatieproces of het invoeren van IP-adressen niet nodig. NDI 5 geïmplementeerd MediaMaster Express heeft nu ook meerdere NDI 5 inputs/outputs met alpha. NDI 5 is een gratis protocol waarmee je video over IP kunt verzenden. Hierdoor kun je live video-inhoud distribueren over een bestaande IP-infrastructuur en worden gebruikers bevrijd van de huidige hardware beperkingen. SAGA-codec MediaMaster 6 draait de gestroomlijnde eigen ArKaos SAGA-codec met 10-bits definitie per kleur en een alfakanaal. Vergeleken met de standaard HAP-codec heeft SAGA een kleiner formaat grootte. Dit resulteert in een hogere snelheid, de mogelijkheid om clips achteruit af te spelen en het versnelt de CPU- en GPU-rendering. Er is geen chroma re-sampling en de resolutie is ongelimiteerd. Arkaos MediaMaster 6 is beschikbaar voor zowel pc- en MAC-gebruikers.
